- Nashville ranked #1 Best Place to live by Kiplinger Personal Finance Magazine, "Our top pick offers affordable homes, a mild climate and a phenomenal entertainment scene that goes far beyond country."
- Nashville and Brentwood also landed on Relocate-America.com's annual list of the Top 100 Places to Live for 2007. The Web site, which provides resources to people relocating, ranks cities that are nominated based on such factors as education, crime, employment and housing data from the previous year.
- Forbes Magazine lists Nashville as one of the Ten Best Places for Business and Careers, . "But one part of the country consistently manages to produce strong economic growth and still keep costs down."
- Business Week names Nashville as one of America's Best Places for Artists based on the combination of artistic resources, relatively low living costs, and young, diverse populations.
